Areas of Specialization
In order to build on the strengths of existing resources and programs
at Elmhurst College, the electives and areas of specialization of
the EC MBA have been developed in cooperation with other graduate
programs at the College and new and existing courses in the CBE.
This approach allows us to offer a number of potentially attractive
choices to our students and to share the resources and expertise
of other areas.
Our offerings include areas of specialization in:
Accounting
Students wishing to specialize in Accounting need prerequisites
equivalent to BUS 361 Intermediate Accounting I and BUS 362 Intermediate
Accounting
II in addition to the Core Courses of the EC MBA.

This specialization combines courses from the Masters Program in
IO/Psych and the CBE. Students wishing to specialize in The Management
of People need prerequisites of equivalent to PSY 210 General Psychology,
PSY 433 Research Methods in Psychology, MBA 502 Analytical Tools
for Management Decisions and the joint approval of the coordinator
of the IO/Psych Masters Program and the EC MBA Program.
