Elmhurst College Human Resource Association (ECHRA)

The Elmhurst College Human Resource Association helps students learn more about a career in human resources and keep up with changes in the field. We are affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and their local professional chapter, the Human Resource Association of Greater Oak Brook.

We typically have one outside speaker each month to discuss a current issue in human resource management. Also, the professional chapter allows members to attend their programs and events and network with their members to find internships and jobs.

Meetings are normally held in the Melanchthon Room of the Frick Center 5:00-6:00 p.m. on the last Monday of the month September-November and February-April. Prospective members are invited to attend one meeting to determine if they are interested in becoming a member.
